What’s the idea? Given the task to use the agency's internal employee portal and rebrand it for DB, I didn't just want to adapt it 1:1, but step it up. That's why I conceived new features. Besides the basic functions of login, search, and profiles with info, skills, and interests, the final scope further covers: a guide, profile additions rating and experiences, events to overview and book, as well as maps to combine, search, and save co-workers and occasions.
How was it realized? Working in Adobe XD, I developed an app prototype: with the holistic approach beginning at the ideas and a concept, working it out as screen designs - using the existing CI as well as expanding the icon set - finishing with connections and animations in a prototype.
Side note: Apart from the chosen features that seemed most fitting for DB, I came up with more ideas to be alternatively/additionally included in social forums of other companies: news, chat, and surveys.
